The birth of CJC grew out of basic need and desire. Carole designed the family's greeting cards for year since black cards were virtually nonexistent. Numerous friends began requesting that she illustrate black cards for them, and this sparked the entrepreneurial interest. Victor, with a degree in business from Howard University, had a long time desire to start a manufacturing company and saw this need as a golden opportunity. The rest, as they say, is history.

After years of working out of their home in Danbury Connecticut, the couple now lead a team of dedicated people who contribute to the day-to-day success of the business. Their daughter, Maria, heads up the customer satisfaction department and several other people are involved in creative, production, warehousing, accounting, sales and marketing.
